Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department:
(Telesquad) Engine 52 (Collins Rd near Blanding) was the first to receive a Pierce "Heavy Engine" and numbered 152.
The new wider, taller and better equipped engine will have room to carry
extrication, ventilation, and lighting equipment normally found on a "Squad". If
the test goes well, several more will be ordered and placed strategically around
the city and will also carry the number one in front of the old engine / station
number. They should be staffed with four personnel minimally. One Officer,
One engineer, and two Firefighters.These pictures were taken at the Tactical
