Retired Captain Cecil Harbison Passed away Sunday July 31, 2011.

Captain Harbison worked at station eleven prior to his retirement.

He was also a combat veteran having survived the D-Day landing on Omaha Beach in France.

He is the Uncle of Lt. Jack Milton who currently is assigned to engine 143B

Funeral Services will be graveside only.

John Cecil Harbison, 92, passed away July 31, 2011. Mr. Harbison is survived by a daughter Cecilia (Bill) Hughes; a son, John (Burma) Harbison; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marian (Palmer). Mr. Harbison was a retired Captain from the Jacksonville Fire Department. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 3, 11:00 am at Jacksonville Memory Gardens with Mr. Maynard Booher officiating.
