Douglas Ivan Richmond Sr., 60, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Monday September 11, 2017. He retired after 23 years with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department as a firefighter engineer. He is preceded in death by his parents Douglas Richmond and Loretta Chandler. Survivors include his wife Vanessa Richmond, daughter Raven (Derric) Jacobs, son Douglas I Richmond Jr., grandchildren Amiyah Jacobs, Derric Jacobs Jr., sisters Tonya Friend and Sandra (Tony) Taylor, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Service was Wednesday 12:00 noon September 20, 2017 at Evergreen Chapel with Rev. Freddie Sumner officiating.Visitation was 1 hour prior to the service at the chapel.
Interment is in Evergreen Cemetery.
